Well I made it, my big jump from Madrid to Stockholm and though it was only a three hour flight, they are worlds apart (as you would expect I guess). I spent a few nights in Stockholm doing all the tourist things you have to, then I moved on to Goteberg. Stockholm is a very clean city in fact too clean the buildings are beautiful and everything is on islands and so green and grey (I guess you can expect the grey if you decide to go to Sweden in the winter). In goteberg I stayed with my friend Emanuel who worked at the hostel for 8 months or so. He had the time off work so I had a personal guide to the ins-and-outs of the area. We even took a tour of the Volvo factory which I thought was very Swedish. I only stayed a weak in sweden and I would have loved to have stayed longer but its so expensive that I had to move on. Just to give you a taste of the prices there a hostel bed was around 40 dollars a night!!
