The narrowest street
Gamla Stan (Old City) - imagine driving a horse and carriage through this!! I guess everyone is out celebrating today... In honour of Canada Day, I made a strawberry cheesecake and brought it into work. So, know that a small group of Swedish people are also celebrating Canada Day!
I just wanted to quickly sum up what I did this week (and basically post some pictures).
Monday - after work, Linn and I went into the old town of Stockholm. Beautiful medieval architecture and narrow stone roads...
Tuesday - Anders (Ylva's Dad) and his wife Eva came over for dinner. Really cool man... he told me some interesting stories about the family (apparently Uncle Eric has always been into fast cars!). Also watched this show on TV called 'Allsång på Skansen'... which is basically a big sing-a-long... Thousands of people go to a park and sing-a-long to old songs lead by famous Swedish musicians (like the winner of the Swedish Idol).
Wednesday - Had a girls night with some of Linn's Stockholm friends... We made dinner and drank too much wine. It was lots of fun.
Thursday - went grocery shopping and made cheesecake.
Work is still going well, although the pace has picked up a bit.
Hope
The Palace
The royal family doesn't actually live here anymore; they live on a small island. everyone has a fun Canada Day!!

Yay Canada!
Ok, I could swear this wasn't here the other day but it says it was published July 1st. Very weird! Looks like you're having loads of fun. I do agree that a carriage would have a hard time going up those stairs. Well, keep the photos coming. Ciao, Gabe
