Hi

Now Saturday morning 8.05am and the last of the people are on there way. Liz is asleep as we are staying another night here in Sarria...has been a challenging last few days. It started when we decided to conquer OCebreiro in the rain , wind , mist, and up hiil for 8km. Stayed the night before at Ruitalin so started at the bottom of the hill in a slight drizzle at about 8am after staying in an alberguess which charged 15.Euro for bed , dinner and breafast, which is great value. The dinner was vegetable soup and plenty of it, followed by tuna salad spaghetti with meat, followed by pudding of carAmelia slice which went down well. Now for the trip up the hill. Through villages , small ones with all the shutter down. Not sure if people in the houses or if the houses are empty. Followed the road for as long as possible then took the track which was wet stoney and muddy . Then at Afar we decide to go on the road again as the cyclist have to do the last 200km. It is better on the footing and others join us not that there is much talking as one has the elements to face. I think we did 8km in four hours but we got to the top in one piece if not slightly wet.
