El Saler

Awake early 5am! Up & on the road by 6am in the dark - crackers!! Running south on the coast road, satnav went haywire & took us to a dead end at the local military base! Carried on south until we got fed up with slower progress on smaller roads - freezing cold, lots of hoar frost. Colleen wanted something WARMER. So we changed our plan and set off towards Pamplona and aimed for Valencia. Some 500 miles - again!
Freezing still, up over the corner of the Pyrenees (beautiful scenery) and down to the plains and so to Valencia. Arrived at 5.30pm at a campsite at El Saler beach. Hooked up electric & water and settled down for the night - knackered again - still its very mild outside and we are both toasty once more. Lovely.
