Waves a bit TOO loud last night - that's what happens when you're 10m from the beach! Still, pretty good night's sleep in spite of that.
Stopped off at a supermarket for a few bits, then used P4N to find a spot near - but not TOO near - the beach, a little further north.
Found one, at Cullera. Plenty of parking space, clearly intended for the occupants of numerous apartment blocks, who weren't there! The beach was beautiful, and deserted (see picture )!
A walk along the road revealed nothing else - just endless rows of near-empty apartment blocks, with not even a café. One shop, but clearly closed for the season.
Never mind, still a nice peaceful beach place - but we'd arrived around 2pm, and it was still only about 4, and not even people to watch!
Then, looking at options for tomorrow, we realised there was a "proper" camperstop just a little way north. Decided that might be a bit more interesting, and a night with electricity would leave us free to be "off-grid" for a couple more days.
Turned out there were TWO camperstops, next door to each other! The first had no pitches left with electricity (because they only charged 11€?), but the second, at 15€, was almost empty (wonder why?).
Anyway, for us, there's no point in paying ANYTHING if it doesn't get us electricity, so we pitched up on the second.
Seems ok, but nothing exciting. Still, it meant we could cook the burgers we'd bought in the oven, much less smelly than the griddle pan!
2110km, so 86km today
