shhh! sleeping I'm staying in a hotel in the puerta del sol, which is pretty much the center of Madrid. It's such an interesting place to live - there are many people walking the streets, and hundreds of restaurants and cafes with some pretty good food.
My place ride over was great. Slept probably for about 90% of the time, so it felt like nothing at all. Luckily, I didn't get much jet lag. I found some pretty interesting things around the city, the funniest being a fat spiderman making funny poses with tourists. The royal palace was amazing, but unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take any pictures. Some of the things I saw included a collection of 5 Stradivarius violins, a room full of silver dishes, and many priceless tapestries and paintings. I also took a tour in the Prado Museum and learned about Spanish art history.
The night life in Madrid is very active. At 1 in the morning there were probably as many people out as one would see on the streets in San Francisco. Apparently many clubs and bars stay open until 7am.
Siestas are the best thing in the world. Time for me to take

farmacia company. There are a million on the street. It's like ABC store in Hawaii, except it's a pharmacy. one. (Siesta is a nap in the early afternoon)
