our apartment was near this oldest and most famous square
May was wonderful! We spent those four weeks in Spain, mostly in Madrid, but also visited Toledo and Tenerife. What can I say about Madrid? Well, I know that I would go there again, without hesitation, since it's a city that never sleeps, with lots of squares, restaurants, good food, interesting events, history, culture and nice people. I was expecting to try some great seafood, which I did, but to my surprise, I also found a lot of interesting patisseries and tried delicious cakes and hot chocolate. During our stay, there were a few festivals, which we greatly enjoyed, especially when we got to see the elderly people wear traditional costumes and dance in the street together with the youngsters. I will let the pictures do the talking, since I am a bit tired, but very much glad that I got to see Madrid.
