We have arrived in Madrid. We took the Metro to our hotel. Very easy as there is a station right in the airpost -although it is a long walk. We had to wait an hour before we could check in. Jim took a walk and I just waited in the air conditioned lobby. The hotel is lovely with a kitchenette, and a large deck. Here is a picture

getting settled
I am sure you will quickly adjust to the time in Spain. It is a cool wet Saturday here. Just as well as I am working this morning.
