My Average Day at King’s College
(My timetable is probably off by a little, but it gives an average idea!)

7:45 A.M. Wake up, get ready for the day
8:30 A.M. Breakfast with the other students and staff who live in the residence
9:25 A.M. “Advising” period for all students in separate classes
9:35 A.M. Period 1
10:30 A.M. Period 2
11:15 A.M. Break in the cafeteria which includes café con leche or tea, plus a snack if you’d like to buy it
11:45 A.M. Period 3
12:30 P.M. Period 4
1:15 P.M. Period 5
2:00 P.M. Lunch Block 1 and 2
2:55 P.M. Period 6
3:45 P.M. Period 7
4:30 School Day Ends
5:00 P.M. Afternoon Break for students & staff living in the res. Includes fruit, bread, meats and cheeses, coffee or tea. Kind of like a little meal to tide you over until the late dinner.
5:30 P.M. Free time in schedule for whatever
8:00 P.M. Eat dinner in the res with the same students and staff.
8:30 P.M. Free time again for whatever.

Because I live at the school I eat 3 meals a day there, and so far have spent only one weeknight in town buying necessities for the room I'm staying in. Once my student teaching really gets underway I'll spend most evenings planning and sorting through papers, or doing the complete opposite-relaxing somewhere in Tres Cantos (northern suburb of Madrid where the school is located)

I can't complain about my schedule, I'm given the opportunity to have coffee 3 times a day!
