Arrived in Tenerife

When we woke this morning we were already docked in Gran Canaria. We stayed there until about 2pm unloading cargo then loading on some more. If we had known we were going to be docked that long, we could have got off, but we will remember for next time.

Arrived in Tenerife about 5pm. This was 2 hours ahead of our 7pm target arrival time.
We were a little apprehensive about our arrival as we had heard so many horror stories about customs regulations here. As it turned out, we were just waved through without any questions by the 4 customs officers.

Arrived at the apartment at about 7pm. Took about half an hour to unload the car then another half an hour to load into the lift for several journeys to the fourth floor where the apartment is.

We decided not to unpack anything tonight as we were both quite tired.
Did try to use the internet though, but could not get it to work.
