A good day!

This week the weather has been crazy! Monday and Tuesday were cold and raining. I did my every day routine, went to school, had lunch , nap, etc. im getting sick so this week hasn’t been too much fun! Monday at school we sang Halloween songs and did coloring stuff. Tuesday in my 6th grade English class I told them about Halloween and what we do and we sang a song. Then we passed out masks for them to make and they were SO excited!! After school I went home and rested because being sick is exhausting. After siesta we went to the library and then we came home and made some home made chicken noodle soup-- it was delicious! Right after dinner I went to sleep.
Today has been a great day so far! Before school I went to the library and I did a little bit of shopping and got some new boots that im pretty excited about, haha. And then I went to school and had 4th grade science. They have a test on Friday so I was reviewing with them about germination, the parts of the plant, what plants need to survive, etc. The kids actually knew a lot today and knew most of it in English! I was proud of my class today!!! After that I had coordination with the principal and we just talked about Priego, the USA, food, etc. Next weekend we are going hiking with her, her husband and a few other teachers so I am excited for that!
I also got to packages in the mail today and I am so happy about that! Candy, books, and a Mariah Carey CD- what more could you need? Haha. And then tonight we are having our 2 English teachers over and Cecilia invited 2 teachers from her school and we are making pizzas and caramel apples (for halloween). It should be a fun time! I am exhausted but we are going to Mallorca this weekend so I’m excited for that as well! Tomorrow night we are taking a free contemporary dance class, so that should be interesting. We’ll see how it goes!
