8 miles...?!

After our typical Starbucks stop on Sundays, Julie and I decided to go walking through the Barrio Santa Cruz since we had never really been in that area before. We walked around, making our way to many tourist shops, until we found this really pretty park. We had no idea where we were until we turned a corner and recognized a monument we had seen before. Despite our trying to get lost, we had failed!

We went a different route from the park to see another new area. We again had no idea where we were, so we decided to follow the light to find somewhere to go. Sure enough the light brought us to Calle Sierpes. Again, we failed at getting lost! I guess we just have an innate sense of direction! We went walking some more, over to the river to sit for awhile, before making our way back home. We finished National Treasure that we had started earlier, and waited for dinner and our telenovela! I think my feet are going to fall off because if I calculated right, and can measure pretty accurately, Julie and I walked roughly 8 miles today!
