Yes, Granada is hot, both ways. Today temperatures reached 38 degrees, and Nick and I spent the day exploring the Ahlambra! Another amazing place, place of Sultans and Muslim rule in Spain. The inside of the palace was amazing, our photos really don´t do it justice. We spent the entire afternoon there, and if it wasn´t so hot, I am sure we could have easily spent more time. Yesterday we drove from Toledo down to Granada. The only problem was that it took us about 45 minutes just to find the right highway our of Granada, which is a total joke as Granada is a pretty small town, surrounded by a river. We should have intuitively been able to figure this out, but no! The Mini we rented is nice to drive, and FAST! which is good as the spanairds drive like crazy here. Our bed and breakfast is in the oldest part of town, and looks directly across to the Ahlambra. Nick had some fun trying to take a night shot of it last night from the terrace of the b&B. We have already used up both of our memory cards, but hope to buy more if we can find

something cheap enough. Tomorrow we shall drive out of Granada, in the nice airconditioned car to Ronda. This is where Hemmingway lived for many years. It should be very hot there as well, we are both making out okay in the heat, but also looking forward to the mediteranean coast again.
