Tapas, Vino and a Culture Shock

Two of my Aussie girl friends decided to come more or less my way (am temporarily residing in Germany) and said "shall we meet in rainy London, rainy Germany or sunny Andalucia?" And guess what I replied?!!! Our neighbourhood by night
this is the quiet corner of town

This is were we got stuck with our little car
'cause about 150 people were accumulating around the car staring at us with this look in their eyes saying "f*ck**g tourists - didn't you see that the road was too fu***** narrow? No f**k*ng cars allowed!!"

And guess what! Yep, this is the Alhambra
seen from the highest part of the Albeicin

Just before sunset it is getting really
cosy in the Albeicin. Even more to fall in love with

On some plaza up there lots of street artists
gather before sunset and entertain everyone around.

And then Silv and I had a drink in style
Shame Susi had already left us to return to London

And then the real beauty appears
Alhambra by night

On the way back down to the city centre
we found all the gorgeous secret spots with local bands playing and stuff

We loved this city! So much character
great energy and a really relaxed atmosphere

Okay, and now the 'boring' part:

Granada
I studied in Granada in July 2005 and fell in love with it. It's the best place on Earth. Thanks for the photos. I have many of similar shots. Great memories.
