Valencia to Gibraltar Day 16: Malaga to Chipiona

The cafeteria we ate lunch while waiting for our bus
This morning we woke up, packed our stuff, turned in the key to our room, and headed to the bus station. We took bus number 1 to the bus station, arriving a bit early. We ate lunch at a cafeteria in the bus station. Manoli ate a pork soup and I had an order of shrimp pil pil. Both were pretty good. We boarded our bus around 2pm and headed to Chipiona, via Cadiz, and a few other stops. After a few stops in other places, we arrived at the Cadiz bus station around 5pm. We had about a half hour wait until the connecting bus to Chipiona. Finally the bus boarded and we got on for the last leg of our trip, to Chipiona, my wife's hometown. When we pulled into the Chipiona bus station, my brother-in-law was sitting there waiting for us. After some hugs from me, and two kisses from my wife (btw there is a Spanish tradition that a man or women kisses someone both cheeks when they meet), we headed to his house.

Over the next few days, we took lots of long walks, mostly along the beach and the main shopping street, ate one

meal in his house each day and the other at places we sort of ran into. On Sunday, the 25th of June, we took a trip to see Gibraltar. I'll leave that trip til the next blog.
