So yeah, it was great. I got some pictures but my camera actually broke so these may be the last for a while. The train took like an hour 45 but it was good. there were like 25 people all together which was fun but also busy. we checked into the hostal and then got groceries and had a beach picnic that lasted for like 6 hours. the water was beautiful but freezing! I jumped in a few times just because I felt like i had to. we met some spaniards on the beach that played guitar. they could play some pink floyd and then they played no woman no cry while i sang. i asked if they new any dave matthews band and they said no and that i should play it. i played a little bit of lie in our graves on one of their guitars which was pretty fun to do. these guys were far superior to me skill wise so it was fun to play my one technically challenging song and the setting couldn´t be beat. there are a few pictures of this but mine aren´t the best. i´ll have to talk to colleen who got a
me and cadiz
the view from the river walk was perfect. better one. but yeah my camera broke, i think i got sand in the lens or something. i´ll try to get it fixed here if it´s cheap and easy but otherwise i might just buy something new or have the padres mail my old one. then we all went and got some tapas that were delicious. again i tried all kinds of stuff that was good and most of which i didn´t even know what it was. cadiz was really a fun time. i had my one class today and this afternoon i got some camera investigation to do.

all met at a tapas bar, paco bigotes and shared some tapas and cruzcampos. there was a girl there who is from new york and is teaching english classes in malaga so it was nice to talk to someone without the thick andalucian accent for a little while. but i am starting to catch on to it a little bit.
