OK, this place is amazing! So far, it is my favorite stop. Great little old city below the castle and we are staying rigt in the middle. Climb up the castle and see the Alps in the distance. Thee is a little river running through town and all these cafes right along side of it. Every street looks lie a postcard. Can't believe so few pople have heard of it here, but chances are Americans will discover it soon enough more than they have already.
Tomorrow we are off to the mountainside town of Bled with its picturesque views. Pretty exited to get out and see the countryside a bit. Anyway, may have found my retirement spot!

I live in Slovenia (in Ljubljana, to be more accurate) and I'm very happy that you liked it... I'm hoping, just like you, that people around the world (especially from USA) will discover our little country.
