After riding through rolling hills and numerous small villages in and amongst fields of grape vines we arrived at Lipica, home of the horse stud farm founded in 1580 by Austrian Archduke Charles. We spent over an hour touring the farm before continuing on. The weather is much improved, perfect biking weather.
