So today was a good day, we took a bus from wein into Bratislava which is the capital of Slovakia. I really wanted to go see it because in the movie Euro trip they accidently end up there and make it seem like it is a very poor part of eastern Europe, it is actually not a very bad city, it is fairly clean and very cheap, the exchange rate there is even better than it was in prague. We walked around and im pretty sure it was only because it is sunday but the city was ghost town there was hardly any people there.
We got off the bus and walked along side the Danube river which is huge and it flows really fast, but it is really pretty and very clear for how fast it is flowing. From there we walked up to the city center which took us about five minutes because i had to stop and tie my shoe, yeah it is a smalllll city. We almost got arrested also because we stopped by a store and got a bottle of wine and started drinking it in a little park that was really nice. anyways out of nowhere a cop car drove up through the park and stopped right infront of us, he said something in slovak and i just said huh? he asked Slovak? and i told him american so he immediatly got really nice and said that alcohol is not allowed in the park and we had to get rid of it. It was really nice of him because he said he would let us go but if he came back and we were still there he was going to be mad, so we took his advice and left. Other than that we didnt have a bad experience in Bratislava. We walked to the top of this giant hill where bratislava castle is and it has the most amazing view of the city and the danube river, and since the sun goes down at 4 oclock there, we got a really nice winter sunset. I really liked it there, and i think we saw all the city had to offer so that was nice also. I was really really impressed also because i read that the city has less than 4 % unemployment and a coulple hundred thousand people. anyways that was our adventure for today on tuesday we go to Budapest in Hungary which i am really excited about. so untill tomorrow, love and miss
