Question: How are women viewed in Russia?

In this article written by a woman who studied in Russia learned that women in Russia were thought of differently in Russia. She states that in Russia Women are viewed as the prettier sex. IN addition she states that in Russia they do not view women as weaker than men just a prettier sex. This may lead to better gender equality in Russia. Women in Russia seem to have better equality. Women in Russia still search for husbands and tend to take care of the kids, but they still can get a better education if they wanted to.

This relates back to the main question as women are treated more equally rather then gender discrimination. Of course it hasn't all gone away as there are still people who do actually view women as the weaker race. However, in Russia it seems to be a safer environment in terms of gender equality. So in Russia they do not view women as the weaker sex, as stated in the article, but instead the "prettier sex"
