St Petersburg - travels have begun

Well we have arrived in St Petersburg!

First impressions are that it is very nice and a lot 'richer' than I ever expected. It is just like any other European city. We have visited the Hermitage museum and St Peter's and Paul cathedral, I am becoming quite an art expert, unlike Gem who finds it all a bit dull! I am know doubt helped by reading the Da Vinci code, which I am absolutely loving!
