הדרך למגדאן - The Way to Magadan

יצאנו לחלק הבא של המסע שלנו, הרפתקה לא ידועה ברחבי מחוז יקוטיה הענק, שהוא האזור המיושב הקר ביותר בעולם מחוץ לאנטארקטיקה.

תחנה ראשונה - אוסט נרה וההרים שסביבה, במרחק 1000 ק"מ מאיתנו. הדרך התחילה במישורים ירוקים, ביצות ענקיות ואז הרים שחורים עם כתמי קרח לבנים זוהרים. באזור אוסט נרה עשינו טרק של שבוע עליו נפרט במקום אחר. רק נציין שבעקבותיו התראיינו לעיתון המקומי.

אחר כך החלטנו להמשיך מזרחה 1000 ק"מ נוספים לעיר מגדאן שעל חוף האוקיאנוס השקט, פחות או יותר בקצה העולם. הדרך הייתה די גרועה ואסתר לובה התעייפה מאוד. לקראת הסוף ראינו דוב בצד הכביש!

We started the next part of our journey, an unknown adventure around the huge district of Yakutia, which is the coldest inhabited region in the world outside of Antarctica.

First stop - Ust Nera and the surrounding mountains, a distance of 1000 km from us. The way started with green plains, swamps giants and then black mountains with glowing spots of white ice. In Ust Nera we went for a week-long trek, on which we'll right in details elsewhere. Just note that we were interviewed by the local newspaper about it.

Afterwards we decided to continue 1000 km further east to Magdan, a city on the Pacific coast, more or less at the end of the world. The road was pretty bad and Ester Luba was very tired. Towards the end we saw a bear on the side of the road!
