this girl was walking next to me but Tim Brown the sicko zoomed in just on her ass... he's been a bad influence on me this whole trip.
Gutted it's all over for now, flew back to London with the dudes almost a week ago and got a job the next day so there wont be any interesting photos for the next wee while. Portugal was beautiful though, not enough time to really enjoy it but we still got the better part of a week camping our way around the cliffy southern coast and a bit of the east which was really amazing! it wasn't quite as hot down there on the Altlantic coast which was nice, but then as we crossed back over towards Spain on our last day it got up into the high 30's again and thats where we started to see a few of the fires that have been all over the news lately... Portugese is a very cool language, it sounds like a mix between Spanish and French but is very hard to understand. They are a lot better then the Spaniards at learning English though so we found it easy enough to get around.

About London, everything's working out a lot better then I could ever have hoped. firstly thanks to Paul, Dave and Aaron at the Auckland Hill Rd flat for

we stopped off in Tarrifa before we left Spain. that town is so windy, and is full of people from all over the world either doing wind sports or crossing over to Morroco. pretty cool, but too booked out in the summer so we couldn't stay the night and enjoy it which was a shame
having me stay in their lounge while I'm sorting myself out... huge ups guys I'll be forever gratfull, really appreciate it! then of course to Shandog for getting me a job the day after i flew in!!! a record for job hunting in London apparently, and I didn't even have to make up a CV! so that will be me for the rest of the year I think, working and couch surfing to try and save up for a couple of short trips in Europe, and hopefully a flight home for Christmas... loving your mail people, hope you're all well. hugs from russ.

this is quite common in Portugal, they line the outside walls of their houses in tiles for durability and weatherproofness. class

we'd all been acusing eachother of backwashing during the whole trip, but it was a sad day when this small continent was spotted floating in out coke, half way through lunch one day. Timmy P was the culprit by the way
