We passed through many small and a few not-so-small towns on our way to Lagos where will stay for two days. We booked our bus and accommodation the night before. Much cheaper. Live and learn or is it travel and learn?

It was a gastronomic time for us today particularly 1 – 3.30pm. Absolutely gastronomic. Lagos is a beautiful place in southern Portugal’s Algarve region where the glorious beaches dominate. More of that tomorrow. The marina stands out in the town centre with yachts of all sizes moored and small motorized tenders ferrying tourists on various sea tours. From our brief stay so far we can see that Lagos is a lively town with numerous eateries and as the weather is sunshine tourists like ourselves are in our element.

We are eagerly looking forward to tomorrow.
