So since i've been gone...

yesterday i planned to go it alone until meeting up with the girls and the museum of terror. On tour i am constantly around people 24/7 and i'm the type that needs space. its not the people its just getting time alone allows me to center myself and be better for those around me 😊 soooo that was what i had planned; a nice coffee sitting down watching the population of Budapest go by with their daily lives and then a bit of shopping. however the invitation to go see a labyrinth was too inticing!! and boi am i glad i went!

it consisted of these caves that were washed out naturally in the early yrs of the earth and over time have had many uses. such as a hospital during the war that could hold 10 000 people!! incredible. the labyrinth was dark and often you couldnt see 5ft infront of you, they had these carved wooden men holding candles and books and the like, which scared the heeby jeebers out of you when you walked round a dark corner!! as we rounded one corner in particular there was this stench and as we turned there was this pillar covered in vines that had fountains on the four sides of the walls. from these fountains poured what looked like blood! i was temporarily grossed out before someone pointed out it was wine! then i recognised the smell. so these wine fountains pour all day every day for ever. pretty cool.

later on that evening we spent four hrs approx at the baths. i had a massage to start with. it took Paula and I at least 15mins to find the spot where our massage was and had to be escorted there. we then spent the rest of our waiting time spudding to not get the big hairy guy with the gut for our massage haha was funny. people are very comfortable showing there body's at the baths. kudos to them! 😊 that evening we tried all the indoor and outdoor pools which varied temperatures and i went in the sauna twice! i love sauna's i'v decided. and when i get home i want to be a sauna junky 😊 haha how bad can it be for you ?? and my skin feels sooo much better today 😊

i did get an espresso on the way to dinner, it was rich, well rounded with lots of flavour and fruity 😊 yumm

today was spent on the bus. the Danube river has flooded and so there are diversions on the road. Our driver did so well 😊 go Shaun!!! and tonight we just went sight seeing. i'll explore more tomorrow!

Night Night!
