Life is not only about parties, beach and fun...it's also about remembering the past and some of the most
stupid things men are able to do.

So here I am in Krakow. So first, if I have to rate a city in the way...would I like to live here...the
answer is no.

Yesterday was spent visiting the Old City of Krakow and today in Auschwitz and Birkenau.

The good news is that it's only -3 or -4 degrees, so much better than expected. Old Krakow is beautiful.
Wondering around was a nice experience...trying to find nice food...not a success, and yes, if people
could smile a little, life would for sure be nicer! We are between Christmas and New Year, so it's very
quiet around town for the moment. Enjoy the pictures and the old stones.

This morning I made my way to Auschwitz. Didn't really know what to expect. It's ended up being a very
humble and dignify experience. Never again this, but we know how men are able to repeat their mistakes!
We started by Auschwitz 1, who did hold 19,000 people at a time, and then on to Auschwitz 2 also known
as Birkenau, which did hold up to 100,000 at a time. 3 hours of visit, with a deep silent and respect most
of the time. Never again! But to do that, we need to bring the future generations here.

Next entry will be much more fun. But if I want to claim one day to have seen the world, it was important
to have been here today.
