dont have much time and I´m sure you´d all rather be at the beach so I´ll keep this short, but basically love holland to bits! the food is fantastic and real, peole are cool, trains are cheap, you can ride everywhere on a bike, dadadada I could go on forever. I'm russ, I'm from New Zealand and have developed a love for travelling over the last couple of years. It was the best descision of my life for sure, breaking the routine and heading off to explore the globe, and I would highly recommend getting out there and having a close up look and anything that you've read about or heard about that intrests you, because if it looks cool on TV, I can garuntee you that it'll be even cooler when you are there amoungst it. Paul Dawson showed up on boxing day so we rode some bikes into Leiden for a look

and had a lot of fun on the Bicycle roundabouts on the way

Heineken havoc, at the Zoeterwoude factory just up the road from Reit and Wims house

we got kicked out of the Foyer for taking this photo, and they didn´t even have any beer for us to try

so we went around the back and found a couple of bottles of fruit juice lying around

Cheers Heineken, by the look on my face you should be able to tell just how sweet it tasted

Roel took us to see this big ass Dam that was so cool. it´s got 2 big arms that swing out into the inlet to protect the flatlands from flooding during Kingtides

had to really stretch to get this shot of it

more dams down in the delta area of southern Holland

these dams are pretty much just bridges, but they block off the bottom when the king tides come through
