It was a very nice weekend in some lovely weather. We had sort of miscalculated which day it was on so we had to rush the day we got back to Amsterdam but it was worth it - a great way to meet up and catch up with lots of friends and to enjoy a very well organised day. Apparently a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'm going to leave it at that....

hotel viewNetherlands on a sunny day can be pretty nice
The Sluis pub1We said that we'd take it easy that afternoon, but you know the hotel room wasn't ready when we arrived, and the sun was shinning on the terrace, so...
Mich and friendsA last evening with his friends before he gets married - that's him on the left btw
Marie and JBI'll probably get killed for publishing this, but you know that saying about beer and dogs and stuff
The boatthe next day the weather was even better - driving all dutch people onto boats on the canals and rivers - a nice boat here though
Posingthe colour is called cherry apparently - doesn't fit within the 7 primary colours that boys use - matches the flowers though
The Dam gangJust before the wedding and all are glammed up nicely. Left to right: Helen, Marie, Michella, Seppy, Maria, Tom
The carGlad they got good weather and could use a lovely car like this. A Buick I'm told
I'm not nervousAll week long Michel was saying that he had no nerves and that this was going to be just like any other Saturday with a few beers with friends. You can make up your own mind as he awaits Andreas arrival
You can kissThat's Andrea with Michel in case you dont recognise him in a suit
Music choiceWell, I thought it was funny so there! Sounded pretty good though
Parents signing 1Michel's parents signing as witnesses. Before this, the mayoress had explained in detail the life stories of Andrea and Michel and their relationship. I think that is required to prevent marriages of convenience, but it was interesting all the same.
