We left London after about an hour’s delay as a piece of luggage was missing from the hotel. After we arrived at the airport there was a delay of about 45 minutes because of crowding. We arrived here about 2:10- took a boat cruise around Amsterdam- shopped- enjoyed the tour very much. Drove on to Rotterdam. Had dinner in the hotel- the Savoy. Oh, we went to a diamond cutter’s place in Amsterdam. Went to a pub with Dianne and Mary Elaine. Daddy was waiting at the hotel until we returned.

Left London at about 9:30 am. Tr. Turin lost his suitcase. Got to London Airport thru customs and changed currency and after slight delay flew to Amsterdam. Was very large and modern compared to England. Went straight to boat on canals thru Amsterdam. It was real great and afterwards we went thru diamond Cutters Shop, was okay. Left there and went shopping. That was fun, only 30 minutes and then on bus for Rotterdam, Holland. Arrived about 7:00 and
Now Rotterdam, The Savoy Hotel, and does that bed look good. We were on the second floor, but they call it the first.
ate very good meal.
After meal, me, Patty, Mary Elaine (a fellow tourist - 25 years old) went for a walk. Went to Pub across from Hotel & had a good time. Talked with Dutch people who couldn’t speak English. Said “feetball” was round and played by black only. Never heard of Atlanta, GA. Patty thought her German would get through but Dutch very different.
