Amsterdam
The computer Im writing on has the Y & Z swapped around, so you may see me type words with Z. Some of the other buttons dont work. We started off the day at 8am and went for a bike ride around Edam, home of the Edam cheese. Rode some grandma bike which although it soudns gay as fuck, in reality is the type of bike everyone rides around here and they ride A LOT of bikes. There are entire car park type buildings which are entirely decicated to bikes. Its fucked up.
So the ride was nice, scenery was pleasent, bike was easier to ride then I expected and the lady who was incharge of us was fucking hilarious. She made jokes about The Dyke, which is kind of like a Damn that allows boats from the sea to entre the river. She said things like "You can stand on The Dyke, touch the Dyke or put your finger in the Dyke."
After the ride we went to the cheese making place. While we were there, Greg (my new friend) fainted which kinda made things interesting. Heh, just my luck. He stayed out of it for
the rest of the day.
We then went to watch some clogs get made which was alright. The Dutch have a weird humour, but theyre fucking funny. The guy making the clogs made all sorts of funny jokes, the only one I can remember is "Do you want to hold my wood."
I found a china cow milk pourer and bought it for my Grandma Sally as she has a few milk pourers and would probably love it. I'm shit at buying gifts, but is one was pretty good me thinks.
Afterwards we went to Anne Franks house. Before we went in, I stopped at the Green Pissing Station. Anne Franks house was pretty cool. It has a really airy feeling once you get past the secret book case that leads you up to their hide out.
While we were queued up, there was a guy riding his bike really quickly towards us. We all moved out of the way for him but when he got close he realised there was a barrier and screamed "SHIIIIIIIIT" at the top of his lungs in a whiney bitch voice. hahahahah the entire line )about 200 people+) cracked up laughing. My
god it was funny.
I spent the day hanging with two girls on the tour, Megan and Janelle. The assisted me in packing my gift for Grandma Sally, because, well, I'm shit.
I failed to get a photo of me smoking weed for Jah. Sorry brother, I didn't want to buy a joint I wasnt going to smoke and I couldnt find anyone from tour who had one.
We then went on a canal curise around Amsterdam. This was really cool. Really good chance to socialise witht he people and see some wicked scenery. The cruise then dropped us off at the Chinese Resturant we were going to have dinner at. The dinner was poor to be honest, but it was a really good time to socialise.
Well, thats me for the moment. Tomorrow were off to Berlin.
