By 10 am the temperature was already in the thirties. After our morning coffee we settled into a shady spot under the chestnut tree in the backyard where there was a bit of a breeze, and were soon cooling off in the pool. Good time to do our laundry. We hung them outside and Marion’s was dry in less than an hour. I left mine out to dry when we left to meet friends from my teens in a town called Uden, about 30 km from Eindhoven. Everything seems to be that distance from here. It was so good to meet up with Cees and Henny, Ad and Herma, and Karla. Cees and Henny’s house is a real nice spot!
