Biking is a pain in my behind

So I've only been here for 3 days and it feels like I've been here for a month. We have to bike to class. That sounds great, but school is over 4 miles away. Every morning we get up at 7, get ready, eat breakfast, and bike 4 miles. It's flat here so it wouldn't be much of a problem, but the bicycle seats are unbelievably bad. My butt hurts so bad that I think there should be visible bruising. It even hurts to sit in a chair. I think that I need one of those inflatable donuts. Hmm...maybe my neck pillow from the plane will work? Besides the awful pain of the bicycle seat, we get lost every morning on the way to class. In fairness, we've only biked to class twice, but we've taken different ways each time. This is supposed to be a 1/2 hour journey, but it has taken us over an hour both days. We even had a GPS with us today and it still didn't hep. I think our professor needs to just give it up and hire us a bus.

Yesterday was our first official day in Den Bosch. We rode our bikes to the university and then walked into town for a canal tour. It was pretty awesome. The guide told us about how the town was a medieval town with a wall and moats. After that we hung around town for awhile and had some beer at a cafe. Howie (the professor) was sitting at our table and telling stories about his other trips to the Netherlands. This is where it gets interesting. First off, he said that he had a friend in the military that was stationed in Rotterdam about 15 years ago and he came to visit him. He said that they went out and drank all night and he did about 18 shots of Jager. When they got back to the friend's place he went to bed but got up in the middle of the night and mistook his friend's bedroom for a bathroom and puked and peed all over it. He went out with somebody else after that and was telling this story so when he got drunk they locked him in the bathroom. He woke up in the shower and saw his friend go by the bathroom naked and really started to wonder what the hell he had done the night before. He also told us a story about a group of students that he brought here before and took to a peep show in the red light district. I guess they do a banana show where the girl puts the banana in her coochie and they pull a guy up on stage and tell him to take a bite of the other end of it. They pulled one of the students up and pulled his pants down to his boxer shorts and put him on his hands and knees in front of the banana and told him to take a bite. The kid refused and is sitting there shaking his head no and a guy dressed in a gorilla suit with a strap-on dangling came up and jumped on his back. I would pay to see that. There are plenty more stories, but I kinda feel like a good nap is in order 😊

Ouchie
Good morning baby! *rubs your bum* Sounds like even though you've run into a few issues your having a good time and getting to see the country side. Just think, one more day and you'll be off on your first weekend adventure. Sucks to hear that people don't want to go until late Friday though. Be safe in Ammey Dam and know that I can't wait to talk to you when you wake. <3 I love you!
