Modern Day Philospher

A example of a modern philosopher is the Pope. I say it is the Pope because he is enlightening the world. The way he is doing this is by saying on what he believes in a topic so hard and that is discussed such as gay marriage. What his philosophy is about it is that he supports it because he states that "Gay marriage is not a choice but it is something we are born with". What this means is that God brought us like that and it is not our choice that people are liking guys or girls. This is enlightening the world because it is opening doors for those people and letting them be accepted to the church which some people believe they should not because marriage is between a man and a women. I think this is good what the Pope is doing because as someone as a big person he is supporting gay marriage is letting those people being accepted to the church.
