This series of pictures pretty much sums up our experience wandering around in Venice. We took our time, spent a lot of time looking at things and taking pictures. Venice of course is known for its Carnivale and as a result there are many mask shops all over the place. Some are more elaborate than others but all are interesting. There are also shops where people could paint their own masks. Now getting them home, another story.

There is always another interesting building, its doors and windows, and of course the canals running here and there and the boats moving around,
