Accademia Museum and Gondola ride

Our lecture yesterday afternoon prepared us for the visit this morning to the Accademia Musem. In this Museum paintings are grouped according to period and school.


For lunch, we had a great experience at Casin de Nobili, Zattere at Gesuti on the Canale della Giuidecca. It was a beautiful sunny day and our lunch was served "family Style" on the deck right on the Canale della Giuidecca, We all enjoyed the setting and the meal, very much.



After lunch, we make our way to the long awaited (for me anyway) Gondola ride. The Gondoliers have to study and practice for 5 years before getting their license. And they DO have to know what they're doing. No, our gondolier did not sing. It was great fun and I took lots of pictures.

It's nice to see this rialto bridge in venice. I see a lot of people who are enjoying above the bridge watching for other views which ca be seen over that there. If i'm not mistaken, this bridge is a tourists destination in that place. ritz carlton timeshares
