Its a YES! We are well on our way to a new life in Italy. Our short exploratory trip was lovely and we could not ask for a more suitable opportunity.
So now its countdown time again.....we leave on the 11th March for a one night stopover at Heathrow and then fly out on the 12th to Pisa.
The house owners are kindly sharing a hire car with us to the house, will then spend a week helping us get settled in and discuss what work they would like us to carry out in the first couple of months.
I can't wait to tell you all about our adventures and exploration of the area....trips to Sienna & Florence are a definite, with Rome, Milan and Venice a hopeful possibility.
Sightings of wild boar, scorpions and porcupines are almost guaranteed with perhaps the added thrill of the cry of a wild Tuscan wolf in the hills waiting for us……ahhh bella Italia…….
