Under the Tuscan Sun

After the chaos of the last couple of days, we decided to have an ‘Emily Day’. We stayed at the villa all day and just relaxed in the sunshine and beautiful gardens. We had a lovely picnic lunch in our little terrace garden. Em spent hours playing in the gardens around the villa, jumping on the cut logs, balancing on the stone walls and running around on the grass. Much better than fighting our way through the city.

At the end of the day, Em helped to build the fire in the kitchen and it kept the apartment lovely and warm all night.
