Beer in Rome

So we found out that my Dad and his wife, Donna, were taking a trip to Sicily and asked us if we were interested in meeting them in Palermo for a few days. Of course we took them up on the opportunity and figured we could also make a stop in Rome for a few days and meet up with our friend Alex. Alex is the owner of an incredible bar/restaurant in Rome and is one of the developing sources of the exploding beer scene in Rome. Yes, Rome has a beer scene!

Easy Jet from London Gatwick to Rome went off with out a hitch. We took the train from the Rome airport to the Trastevere area of Rome where Alex was incredibly gracious and put us up at a great hotel. We meet up with Alex and he took us to his restaurant for drinks and the most amazing fresh seafood dinner.
