Wooo!
Today we had to wake up so early to get to the police station to obtain our permit of stay. We were told there were ques, so we got there at 7:30--it opens at 9. It was somewhat like waking up to get tickets to an N*Sync concert, except less exciting. We actually didn't get called in until 10:30, but we got our permit of stay! They took our fingerprints, whcih was a little tickly, but fun because the women who work there, were so silly! Unlike the police stations at home that are very orderly and all the workers wear uniforms or dress clothes, the women here looked a little more like Jersey Shore Girls. They wore too tight, see-through tops and bright red lipstick! They cracked me up because they kept leaving us to get snacks from the back room, so therefore it took about an hour for all of our paperwork stuff to get done. hahaha!

After the police station, we came home and I met up with Clint and Jimmy to go ahead and celebrate the weekend. We had some lunch and wine, and then watched Old School. Then we went back over to my

On our walk to town, we got gelato! I was so happy to finally find a place with Vanilla...
apt., everyone got ready and we went out for Chinese food! YEA! Everyone thought I was the linguistic hero for the night because they only spoke Italian or Chinese and it was fun for me to practice my Mandarin. Plus the restaurant was cheap-- I must remember.

The Katie, Clint, and I went over to meet up with the other Architecture students and we headed towards Scholar's Lounge--and Irish pub. All the school was pretty much there and it was a blast! We turned it into a dance club and it was great! We met up with Jimmy there too and he had met these Irish girls that were so funny! They kept telling us to get a bit of crack on, and I kept walking away, thinking they were trying to offer us drugs, but it turns out that after the confusion, crack--really spelled kraik--is an Irish slang expression for having fun. I guess kinda like crunk, maybe? I don't know, but it was pretty funny. It was a really fun night to a really boring morning. 😊

Erin had left after to dinner to get her friend Lea who is visiting us from Hamburg, Germany. They then met us at Scholar's Lounge and it's going to be a fun week because it's just one more girl to our perpetual slumber party at our apt!

I really enjoy reading this--except about the mugging. You are one tough woman! You also are a good writer. I would blog about teaching, but it would not be very entertaining. I love you and miss you!!!
