Much like paris, today was an all day running around the city day. We started with a massive tour of the vatican, for like 3 hrs, which was actually good cause the building was so cool in its design, and there was cool statues etc inside. Straight after that we went into the Sistine Chapel, which was a church painted mostly by Michaelangelo, it was really amazing. We followed this with a few more spectacular buildings, including a castle where popes hid out in war, and the Pantheon, a church with a hole at the top of the dome roof, which let rain and everything in, but mainly just looked cool. The acoustics in that place was really good, a whistle echoed for ages. Anyway after that it was a few more mini landmarks and then the Colloseum and its surroundings.the colloseum was as expected, after seeing so much about it already, but was still really really cool piece of architecture.
