Hm. Rome was supposed to be a night stop before a flight; on the plus side i stayed at a vibrant hostel of nationalities and alltogether nice to make conversation with until early morning. i meT this 28 yr old canadian electrition and in the morning we made plans to stroll through ancient city before i left. it took Longer than i anticipated and i missed my shuttle and then my flight. 😞 well i CHEered my day up with an old favorite: eating at an exotic restaurant, go window shopping through the best chic clothes in town, and stumbling along a reknowned gelato place. i ordering some flavor in italian with no clue what it meant and it turned out to be and it was CHERRY so good. so i had a nice tiMe all around rome and caught the next flight 830 the next morning. had a great night wiTh 2 toronto folks, a kiwi, abrit and an aussie till 2 or 3 having a great time. so bye bye rome. off to amsterdam.
