Spent the morning on the beach, I could definitely get used to this life. After a quick lunch I took the long walk up to the port area where I sat for a while by the lighthouse before catching the boat to the small town of Portoverde which is further south than Rimini. A lovely open top boat so amazing sea breeze led us into the circular harbour surrounded by very posh flats and expensive boutiques. Not an awful lot else there but it did give everyone time to get off and stretch their legs or get refreshments. The hour or so spent there was enough before heading back on the boat where they provided everyone with freshly grilled sardines and bread and prosecco… beautiful! Final evening in Rimini was a lovely meal out and beer on the balcony looking over the Adriatic sea as the sun set… magical… ciao Italia.
