We arose bright and early to see the island of Capri. Only problem was… the weather. The captain of the ship declared it to be to dangerous to get off the boat and transfer to the smaller boats (as we don’t actually dock) due to the rain and sea conditions… So on we go to Naples instead. We had limited time in town, so we made the most of it. We walked around a bit and ultimately spent a majority of our time eating pizza and drinking wine. We had to be back on board by 2:30pm as we have a long way to our next stop, Tunis. We spent the day with 2 women, one from Scotland and the other from Ireland. The two ladies have been connected for over 20 years through their sons. Unfortunately, their sons both have the same rare medical condition. They were connected because of their sons’ illness, but their families formed lifetime bonds. The ladies like to drink a bit, so they are quite entertaining and fun to be around.
