Greetings from Lecce, Italy! We had a nice breakfast in Hotel Slavija yesterday morning, with Jim and Lois, who were heading out to the airport later that day, then we walked to the bus depot to get the airport shuttle bus to the Split airport. It was really fun meeting my brother and sister in law in Italy, we were so lucky we were able to meet up. Lecce does have a lot of tourists too (in the old town), but there are definitely areas (like the one we stayed in) that are far less touristy. It was far less touristy than Rome though, that’s for sure!
