So, the bike ride starts. Our itinerary is good with an assortment of terrain and scenery. The region of Italy is the heel of Italy, known as Apulia. We have more than 350 k's to ride and this time round we are all using E Bikes. Our intention is not to set any records, to take in all the sites with numerous stops for coffee/ refreshments. Well Earned First Drinks.

Always good to sit and discuss the day.

Delightful Porto Cesareo.

I do like to be beside the seaside. We hit the coast and the villages, beaches and rocky head lands are beautiful.

Beautiful.

Mostly biking on quite roads with some cycle paths. But in the villages/ towns traffic could be a bit scary.

Nice beach, nice village. Good coffee or cold drinks as well.

Busy Roads.

Sometimes when a couple of cars are going in opposite directions and the road is narrow, boy, do they seem to be close.

Into The Pool.

This is so so good and it's a real bonus to get to a hotel where there is a pool.

Magic. Torre del Orso.

This is one place I would like to come back to. Nice area and a great hotel looking out over this view. Unfortunately we were just biking through.

Beautiful Waters.

Beautiful coves.

Lorraine.

A beach, beautiful water and the child comes out in everyone. Lorraine just couldn't control the urge to plunge in.

Completed.

Last hotel on the last day of biking and we say goodbye to the bikes. It was fantastic.
