A drink with some Finish inter-railers in Brindisi
On the train south to Brindisi, I met four people from Finland - two blokes and two girls - who were heading for Corfu and let me tag along with them. When we arrived, it was some time before the ferry left, so we all got the bus to the beach to catch some rays. This also gave me a good chance to dry those clothes that I had washed in Florence. The Finish girls weren’t shy and they had their tops off before we had even sat down.

We got on the ferry about three hours before it was due to leave, which was handy as it soon got very crowded. It cost extra to be allowed to sleep in the boat, so we all ended up on the top deck. It was actually very nice, sleeping on the deck of a ship as it sailed out to sea, with the sound of the waves all around you.

We left port about an hour late. It was Italy after all.
