I have to tell you how excited we are to be in Alberobello, what a great feel Alberobello has about it, a quaint little town up in the hills off the east coast of Italy! Our pizza man insisted on making a chefs special for us, we did not need two, but bought it back for John's breakfast, the two pizzas, 5 glasses of Rose and a couple of his Albanian liquor all for a very expensive sum of $32 AUD

This impressive bronze statue about 5 metres high, legend has it it was stolen from Constantinople and on its way to Venice was shipwrecked on the Apulian beaches, unknown who it represents but it is stunning

Gorgeous streets, so very clean not like some other cities especially in Sicily

On our hunt for Limoncello today stopped at the most beautiful pasticceria and had coffee and a yummy choux pastry delight.... this will be knocked out of us when we get home....NO MORE SWEETS!
