brendy smelling the whisky Hey Everyone,
Long time in between blogs, i have been very lazy and we have also had alot of issues with the camera and memory cards which has been making it very hard to post photos. Hopefully today it works. Taking photo's is the rain is apparently not very good for the camera.
Anyway, went to Ireland a fews weeks ago. Was a great 10 days for me and 5 for boy. After a massive weekend with the kiwi's and aussie we met on the egypt tour who came down to watch boy play cricket and to get a taste of the otley night life, we jumped on the plane late sunday night. Arrived in Dublin at about midnight and for once found out hostel easily. Didn't stay at belinda's because she also flew in on sunday from spain and thought she might need her rest.
Met up with her on the monday and dumped our bags. Off site seeing, we did all the main sites including the guiness factory, jameson factory, trinity college, the old goal, free walking tour through the city, temple bar, Dublin Zoo, natural museum, and so on. Lindy came with us to the goal

lindy gave me the heads up to volunteer at the start of the tour, 4 free shots, can't say i really enjoyed them! and the zoo because they were 2 things that she hadn't done before, she didn't feel like doing the guiness ot jameson for a third time 😉
Also headed down to Blaney castle and cork for a day trip, kissed the stone and all that. Good times.
Brendan left on the thursday so on friday i headed down to galyway and jumped on a tour on saturday to the cliffs of moher which were insane, really enjoyed them. Back to Dublin to annoy belinda again and then on monday morning i jumped on a tour with the shamrockers to northern island.
Went to Derry and did the best walking tour of teh trip, the old guy was such a character and it was so interesting learning all about bloody sunday. We were actually there the day before the inquest came out so the town was very quiet and had a very weird sort of feel about it.
Onto belfast the next day with a stop in at the giant causeway which was also a highlight. Did a black cabs tour in belfast which also was alll about the troubles they have had over the years. very interesting but kinda of

cliffs of moher, perfect day we had depressing. The city of belfast is not pretty at all but the history was interesting.
Backl to dublin again to lindy's house and FINALLY kelly has here baby on my final night there, very exciting times to be there with the new auntie!!!
Thats it, very brief for you!!
