First Day

So it's pretty windy and cold here, but when the sun comes out it's not bad at all. We walked around the city for a while, it's really cool. It almost feels like a set for a movie, and all the buildings are so intricate the kinda look like miniatures. There are really great shops everywhere, i'm sure I can get some good shopping done... and of course there is the historic part too. We went to the church of St. Nicholas, which was built in 1320. They say Columbus must have worshipped there. Oh, also the tap water is contaminated in Galway, so we have to use bottled water to brush our teeth. Yum. So thats all for now, we'll be going out for a pint soon and dinner after!
