Today is Match day, the Irish football final between Kerry and Tyrone counties. It is also International Peace day; and the last day of our holiday in Ireland. We were told that the pub culture is waning due to the current recession and the modern laws about drunk driving.

Not a red-shirted Tyrone fan was to be seen at this pub

By halftime, Kerry was up by only one, 7-6. At the end of the game, Tyrone won. Yahoo! They were the underdogs.

When we had lunch, the pub was empty. It filled up by three, so fans could watch the game.

Ah, yes the Clarence. We spent an afternoon in there. I love your comments and am so glad you had a great time in Ireland. I could live there I loved it so much. We'll have lots to chat about when you settle in back home, although it's a long time a way. Where are you off to now??
